Asymmetrical flap C6 sized envelope template (free download)

There are times in life when you don't want something ordinary. This envelope with its funky asymmetric flap is for those occasions where you want to make a bit of a statement.

The template is designed to be printed on A4 - sized paper, so you can print it out onto white or coloured card (200 gsm works well), cut it out, fold it and glue the envelope together. Make sure your printer settings are set to print as "Actual Size" with no scaling.

Another idea is to print it onto card stock, cut it out and use it as a template for tracing the outline onto thick wrapping paper. It’s a great way to give a second life to pretty wrapping paper that you've received and thought would be a waste to throw away. (I'm sure those of you who like to carefully open your presents, rather than ripping them open can relate).

You can flip the template depending on which way you'd like the asymmetrical flap to point.

Envelope size: C6 (162 x 114mm when folded)

Recommended card size: A6 (A5 folded)

We used double-sided glue tape to stick the edges together. You should be able to find this at your local craft or stationery store.
