This slightly angled, square-tipped nib is ideal for calligraphy script styles including Italic, Gothic and Roman lettering. Ink reservoir on top. Unique for the sharpness of its angles and by the precision of its upstrokes, the 0.7mm nib is a unique size to Brause.
The ‘Brause’ brand was founded in 1850 in Iserlohn, Germany. The quality of its craftsmanship enabled it to be quickly recognised and their nibs are renowned throughout the calligraphy world. Brause has become the specialist in calligraphy, with its writing and drawing nibs and they can be found in toolbox of many calligraphers, lettering artists and illustrators. Offering a subtle balance between relative elasticity for easier writing, and the resistance necessary for clear strokes, Brause Nibs are manufactured from cold rolled steel and pressed with tools specific to each model and nib size.
