We've made two free versions of a C6 free envelope template for you to enjoy: one with calligraphy strokes to make envelope art and a blank version for you to do as you wish with it.
Envelope art with traceable calligraphy drills
Practising calligraphy doesn't have to be boring..
Especially if it means improving your dexterity by tracing over some common calligraphy strokes and ending up with beautiful envelope art, ready for sending!
If you love making handmade cards, why not try this idea for decorating the envelope. I left the right side of the envelope blank for you to add postage stamps if you wish.
I used a steel Nikko G nib in an oblique calligraphy pen holder but you can also use small tipped brush pens.
C6 BLANK ENVELOPE TEMPLATE
I'LL BET YOU CAN THINK OF MORE WAYS TO USE A BLANK ENVELOPE TEMPLATE THAN I CAN..
but here are some that I (and those of you who have already downloaded these and messaged me) have come up with:
-
A quick project way to use up scrapbooking paper stashes, or recycling wrapping paper from gifts that you've received
-
A hands-on, boredom buster activity for the kids when they're stuck at home. Ask them to write and wax seal letters to their extended family and friends
-
Making vellum envelopes (useful for wedding stationers)
I love seeing all the creative projects that you come up with! Feel free to send them via email, social media, or tag me (@fionaariva on Instagram)
