How To Fold an Origami Letter Without an Envelope Tutorial

Here’s a simple origami folding technique that’s useful when you don’t have an envelope on hand, or if you just want to try something fun and creative

Instructions

Fold the letter in half, open it out again, then rotate the letter onto its side (landscape orientation)
Fold the top left and bottom right corners inwards toward the centre fold. Crease
Fold the bottom left corner upwards and top right corner downwards until they meet the edges of the paper that were folded inwards in step 2. Crease
Fold the pointed corners inwards again, aligned towards the centre fold
Tuck the corners into the small v-shaped pocket flaps
Add a wax seal to prevent unauthorised peeking
